A meteorite collided with Russia on February 15th, crashing into the Ural Mountains with the force of an atomic bomb. Approximately 1,100 people were injured, and many more were left frightened.
A “meteorite rush” has also began since then as scientists have been finding its left over fragments. It’s estimated that its chunks could be worth anything up to 66,000 roubles ($2,200) per gram – more than forty times the current cost of gold. You treasure hunters out there, be prepared to look on eBay.
