November, November, November…what colors really define this coming month? The orange and brown of fall, and of course there’s Xbox green. And we can’t forget black, because of the shopping day known as Black Friday.
November is the month when stores are dedicated to getting rid of their stock, so they sell their items at low prices. If you’ve got a spare lawn chair, set it up across the street from your favorite mall and watch the crazy shoppers rushing in and out of stores. According to the Nest’s Mr. Dring, it’s the best day of the year for people watching.
This coming November will be a special one. Plates may be emptied a lot quicker than expected during Thanksgiving to make way for video game time, as millions of children, teenagers, and even adults rush to their local stores to grab one of the next generation gaming consoles.
Out of all the items being sold, some of the most controversial items will be those of Microsoft’s Xbox One, and Sony’s PS4. Microsoft aims to produce a Jack of all trades console that appeals to everyone and fits perfectly in your living room. While Sony’s aim is to focus on the quality of their games.
In the end it depends on how much bang you’re getting for your buck. If you’re looking for more next-generation features and you’re a fan of innovation, go with the Xbox One. If you’re looking for a console that focuses on cutting edge game graphics and puts everything else second, get the PS4.
The Xbox One will be sold at a starting price of $499 and will be released on November 22nd, while the Playstation Four will be sold at a starting price of $399 and will be released on November 15th. Your best bet for getting one of these consoles during black Friday is to grab one off the shelf, run to the nearest cash register and scream, take my money! Or you could just order one online and call it cyber Monday.
