What to Watch in Quarantine: Criminal Minds
Crime, drama, and psychoanalysis. Those are the three words I would use to describe one of the most fascinating shows I have ever watched, “Criminal Minds”.
This show is streamed on CBS as well as on demand on Netflix, and it has 14 action packed seasons for you to binge. Although only 12 seasons are on Netflix, they are each almost an hour long, so that should be sufficient amount of entertainment for quarantine.
Throughout these episodes, FBI profilers analyze how criminals think, what goes through their mind as they commit a crime, and what they will do next to catch them. This particular team works for the Behavioral Analysis Unit based in Quantico, VA. Each team member has their own specific skill set that contributes to them catching different kinds of criminals. In addition, they each have their own set of struggles and unique journeys that define who they are and add many layers to the show.
I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in psychology or criminal justice, and of course anyone who loves dramatic shows. However, there are some graphic, bloody scenes and other scenes that seem like pure emotional torture.
Overall, I think its plot and its characters are very well developed and can be very addicting, which makes it the perfect quarantine binge. I personally prefer it over “Law & Order”, which is quite controversial. Rather I enjoy the more diverse plot “Criminal Minds” has.
